As much as I love DC, and our new house, and all our friends, there’s a part of me that will always want to live in the West, on the edge of history. I don’t think that part of me will ever win the discussion over where to be and what to do. That part will always be there, though, staring at golden hills and green fields of corn and sunflowers, and imagining a life in the West.
