I think my, and every other Apple fan’s, favorite Steve-ism is: “One more thing.” It was the end of his Keynote several times, and each of those times it pulled the rug out from under everyone to say, “Oh, and this is so mind glowingly amazing that we’ll have left it for last, and we’ll just pretend it was an afterthought.”
Steve’s showmanship was second to none, but his best trick was the “One More Thing.”
Inside every fan’s imagination lived the One More Thing they wanted for themselves. G5 PowerBooks, resurrected Newtons, Blu-Ray drives, and batteries that went on forever.
I think today, we’d trade those all for One More Thing, one last time.
