I live and work in the District of Columbia. I write at We Love DC, a blog I helped start, I work at Technolutionary, a company I helped start, and I'm happy doing both. I enjoy watching baseball, cooking, and gardening. I grow a mean pepper, keep a clean scorebook, and wash the dishes when I'm done.
ashamedtosay asked:This is not outside weather. You know I'll run outside in heavy snow. You know I'll go out in 12 degrees. You know I run in heat and rain and everything - except ice. Don't beat yourself up, ice is dangerous. You aren't sacred of something that is not dangerous, like balloon animals, this isn't irrational. People who deal with this as standard winter stay home. People who don't have this as normal winter are often not properly scared of ice storms and the danger they pose.
Thanks for the perspective, Kris. This really helps.
