Best Dilbert ever.
(I believe this pre-dates Mac OS X, but I’m not sure)
When I see this comic, I am reminded of when it first appeared in newspapers. My Dad and I laughed and laughed and laughed because we knew the guy it was modeled after. It was Jack Crowell, Uncle Jack, to me. He was the sysadmin for the community network, attached to the University. He ran the monster UNIX systems that handled all our mail, taught me what strong passwords meant, and made damned sure I knew how a lot of what happened out there in the internet worked. Jack, and my Dad, are very much the reason I’m in IT today.
Thanks, guys.
