I’m surprised at that empty position. You’re not maximizing the value of your home screen.
So, on my home screen I do have an empty position. I’d prefer to have a whole empty *row*. The rest of my screens have an empty row. My justification is simple: I hate accidentally launching things - and this was a problem consistently when I would use a more casual swipe. So I leave an open slot on the bottom right corner of my home screen, and the bottom row of icons, right above the dock, remains open on all other screens. This gives me a “backstop” to use as benchmark when swiping between screens.

Our favorite bar is a place called Betty’s, FKA the Betty Ford (the C&D is framed and mounted on the wall). Also, it’s completely unhealthy but we’re fans of Smoke’s Poutinerie. And we love Mill St beer. Our friends live near the original location.

You have piqued my curiosity. The oil in a citrus peel isn’t very soluble in water, which is why punches are best made with an oleo-saccharum (muddle peels with sugar and let rest, and the sugar extracts the oil for you). Now I want to A-B test this.
Is the concern that the simple syrup won’t bond to the infused alcohol properly? Or is the concern that the alcohol won’t accept the citrus oils in the lime peels?

You like that about his writing? I still haven’t been able to finish the trilogy because there’s just too much of the mansplaining.
Maybe I’m weird, but I don’t see it that way.
When you broke out the word, I could see how it could be seen that way, but I’m not sure I’m comfortable with the use there. I need to ruminate a bit.
Is it really mansplaining? Audience? Brevet Captain?
